Session 2: Differentiated Instruction in Science - (Tuesday, July 21, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) Facilitator: David Hernandez. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in physics and economics from Northern Illinois University and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Aurora University. He taught bilingual mathematics and physics for 15 years and has been writing hands-on, cutting edge, innovating k-12 curriculum for the past 5 years impacting numerous educators statewide. David’s specialty is to create real world models in order for a student to understand and assimilate specific concepts. Additionally, he is creating a STEM curriculum in Spanish.
